Programs + Initiatives

The AIGA Arizona chapter has evolved over the years to include so much more than events.

While we’re proud to provide networking opportunities and educational workshops and panels, we challenge ourselves constantly to provide more segmented programming, resources, and support for our creative community. Here’s a preview of what we’ve got going on.

Interested in learning more about a program or initiative? Have an idea for an event? Head over to the Meet the Board page to connect directly.

Business + Design

Diversity, Equity + Inclusion

Realizing it needed to be so much more than a few events or programming, AIGA AZ approaches every initiative through the DEI lens, working to provide resources and a welcoming space for all. Interested in helping us evolve DEI in our community?

Education + Mentorship

E+M supports academic programs, educators, and students including mentorship of designers at all levels through our annual Portfolio Review and quarterly Mentorship Meetups.

In-House

In-house creatives account for a third of our membership and this initiative serves members of the in-house creative community by providing opportunities to learn, grow, and connect.

Phoenix Design Week

Phoenix Design Week is a week-long series of events that bookend a two-day conference with a rotating theme. The conference is organized by community volunteers for creative professionals.

Tucson + Flagstaff

AIGA AZ is proud to support the creative community and are happy to provide programming and resources all over the state with the help of our ever-growing satellite boards in Tucson and Flagstaff.

Student Groups

AIGA encourages the formation of student groups at colleges and universities as a way of encouraging students to take the first step in demonstrating a commitment to their professional interest and assisting them in understanding the profession.
